MKVToolnix is a set of tools to create, alter and inspect [Seuls les membres peuvent voir les liens] files under Linux, other Unices and Windows. They do for Matroska what the [Seuls les membres peuvent voir les liens] do for the OGM format and then some.
Since May 1st 2003, the Matroska libraries themselves and my Matroska tools are officially available. Although all of them are still under heavy development, I consider MKVToolnix to be stable.
two versions: one that contains a Unicode enabled version of mmg, the GUI, and one with the normal GUI. The Unicode enabled version will only work on Windows versions that contain Unicode support. So if you use Windows 95, 98 or ME you have to download the non-Unicode version. Until version 1.7.0 I used to provide two packages for each flavour: an installer and a RARed version. I don't anymore and only the installer is left. So the only choice you'll have to make is whether you need the Unicode enabled version or not.
