DAEMON Tools 4.0.9.1


Daemon-Tools is an advanced application for multiprotection emulation. It is further development of Generic Safedisc emulator and incorporates all its features. This program allows running [Seuls les membres peuvent voir les liens] of SafeDisc (C-Dilla), Securom or Laserlock protected games. Also included is a Virtual DVDROM drive (Generic STEALTH DVDROM) enabling you to use your CD images as if they were already burned to CD! DAEMON Tools works under Windows9x/ME/NT/2000/XP with all types of CD/DVDROM drives (IDE/SCSI) and supports nearly any CD protection.
Changes in version 4.0.9.1:
- Fixed daemon.dll loading problem with some third party addons.
- Fixed problem reported with *isz images.
- Added some new language strings to lang1033.dll on request from translators.

Note:Those who already have DT 4.09.0 should close DT icon in tray then run new setup (DT 4.09.1) and select Reinstall. Then run DT again. No reboots or other actions needed.

- Rare System's hangs on images mounting on Windows Vista;
- Some TAGES grabbed images utilize up to 100% CPU time in certain configurations;
- Grabbing problem with some Tages games (eg. Helldorado);

Known issues:
- DTPro Shell extensions do not appear on x64 platforms.

Install Notes (From PARADOX NFO) :
1. Install DTPro4100215.exe, untick Run now after installation is complete
2. Copy the provided CRYPTAPI.DLL to your installation folder overwriting the original one
3. In case DT Pro 4.10.0215 Free is already installed, just perform step 2 and uninstall WhenU ShitNow manually
4. Fire up DT Pro (the e-mail address you're prompted for is now used solely offline and for bug reporting)

P.S. In some cases temporarily unregistering the DT Pro shell extension and rebooting the machine might be
necessary in order to overwrite the original CRYPTAPI.DLL file.
P.P.S. We tagged this one INTERNAL as we don't consider fixed ad-ware a legit release.
