Is The Best Antivirus Eve Had With Anti-Spam And Firewall Security For Mobile.

If you want this to be used for longer more than 30 days then you have to uninstall it afte expiration not with any file manager but with phone orignal one as it removes all files completely.Before installing it again for further use open file manage like fe explore or etc and got c:\system\data\mobilesecurity} and delete the file name check.dat and install the software again.You r on then u can used this as much u want.

1. About Mobile Security
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trend Micro Mobile Security for Symbian is a Trend Micro solution for
wireless mobile devices that use the Symbian operating system.

Through a simple interface, users can configure antivirus and
Anti-spam options. Mobile Security antivirus options include the
ability to perform a Manual Scan and Real-time Scan on all files and
folders, with the options to delete, quarantine and deny access to
detected files with viruses and other security risks. Anti-spam
options include the ability to allow or filter SMS and WAP-Push
messages from a configured list of phone numbers, and Bluestab
protection. A Bluestab Denial of Service (DoS) Attack occurs when a
Bluetooth device encounters certain invalid characters as part of a
Bluetooth nickname. Users can also view scan, Anti-spam, and task
logs.

2.1 Resolved Known Issues (from Previous Version)

2.1.1 Manual Scan
-----------------
Previously, the user could not switch to another application when
Mobile Security is scanning a large compressed (SIS/ZIP) file.
This is now fixed.

2.1.2 Anti-spam
---------------
Previously, Mobile Security would occasionally fail to filter a spam
message that arrives immediately after the phone is turned on. This
is now resolved with this version.

5. Installation
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Perform the following steps to install Mobile Security:

5.1 Using PC Suite software on the host PC
------------------------------------------
1. Copy the setup file, MobileSecurity.sis, to the host PC.
2. Connect your device to a host computer with PC Suite.
3. On the host computer, run the PC Suite software installation
application. A prompt appears on the host PC.
4. Select the setup file and start the installation. Wait for the
progress bar at the bottom of the screen to reach the end of the
bar.
5. Click "OK" on the displayed prompt.
6. Follow the instructions on the mobile device screen to finish
the installation.
7. Installation is complete. Mobile Security now appears in your
"Applications" menu.

5.2 Using Bluetooth
-------------------
1. Copy the setup file, MobileSecurity.sis, to a Bluetooth-enabled
computer.
2. Transfer the setup file to your phone using Bluetooth. A message
prompt appears on your phone.
3. Select "Show". The Install software prompt appears.
4. Select "Yes". The "Options" menu is displayed.
5. Select "Continue". The license agreement is shown.
6. Carefully read the license agreement, and then click "OK" if you
want to continue installation. A prompt appears, informing you
that Mobile Security can only be installed in internal memory.
7. Select "OK". The installer extracts the SIS file. When
installation is complete, Mobile Security appears in your
"Applications" Menu.


6. Post-Installation Configuration
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anti-spam is disabled by default. Enable Anti-spam if you want to
filter unwanted SMS messages into a Spam folder. For detailed
instructions on enabling and configuring spam prevention, see your
User's Guide.

Note: Trend Micro recommends that you update your scan engine and
virus pattern files immediately after installing the product.


7. Known Issues
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are the known issues in this release:

7.1 Real-time Scan
------------------
While the virus action is in "Deny access" mode, the message
application continues to display a warning sign when it tries to open
a multimedia message (MMS) with a virus attachment.


7.2 Anti-spam
-------------
Short message service (SMS)-type messages cannot be received while
Mobile Security is prompting the user whether or not to accept
WAP-Push messages.


7.3 Quarantine
---------------
Transferring files via Bluetooth fails when the default action is set
to "Deny access" and when a virus or security risk is restored at
"c:\system\temp\BTObex.tmp".


7.4 Online Help
---------------
Mobile Security Context-Sensitive Help does not work on Panasonic
X700/X800.


7.5 Installation
----------------
After Trend Micro Mobile Security displays the message "The previous
version has been removed successfully. Please run the installation
package again to install the latest version of Trend Micro Mobile
Security" and the Mobile Security icon is not shown, the user must
run the installation package again to completely install the latest
version of the application.

To keep using it, there's a solution..When the trial expires uninstall it from app manager builtin with phone..then go to c through file manager c:\data\mobilesecurity\
In it there would be a check .dat file which can only be deleted when it's unisntalled.. so delete it and install again..Its my favourite too.It has automatic updates without expiring,and spam check and firewall plus every day live update...
